Today, at the midpoint of the fall, we are pleased to show you our next collection. For the first time in the history of Leta, it is made of gold. Una is the contemporary heritage of Malevich. The items of the collection recreate Malevich’s recognizable suprematist compositions.

There is no storyline or imagery in them since within the philosophy of suprematism color is purely a medium of emotions and concepts, free from any other role. This idea became the founding principle for an avant-garde artistic group UNOVIS. Artist’s daughter, Una Malevich, was called after it, and 80 years later we named our collection the same.

“I have always loved colors and their multiple shades. Being an architect, I also appreciate simple shapes that a future piece of jewelry can be composed of.
The Una collection began with sketching out color spots on paper, and as it often happens with a new collection on the way, the process was completely unconscious. My goal was to have bright colored stones in focus, noticeable and self-contained. There was also this wish to use some shapes that are new to us — elongated cylinders and round thin blades. We were going through dozens of stones every day and finally settled on the red onyx, deep blue sodalite with thin white inclusions and sky-blue quartz. We decided to have this collection in yellow gold — weightless chains and thin line details subtly highlighted the beauty of the stones.
This is how Una was created — brave, driven by the impulse of love for color and energy it brings.”
Our reimagined Gift Card is the result of collaboration with talented artists from around the world. On the front side of the card you will find some regular information about the value of the card and an activation code, whereas the back side has a work of art, created by an artist especially for this card issue. What makes this card valuable is that each issue is limited of only 100, so it’s definitely worth saving even after spending.
We have been planning to present our items in Saint-Petersburg for a long time. Despite the delivery service with a free trying-on option, the important advantage of a jewelry brand is to provide the customer the opportunity for an authentic shopping experience with the ability to receive professional advice from a specialist. Fabergé Museum Store is now the place where you can do it all.
A talented photographer Lucy Zharikova went to Yantarny this summer to create an atmospheric shoot on the Baltic Coast for Ambery. Inspired by the cold sea, fresh wind and natural textures, such as wood and smoky pebbles, Lucy subtly conveyed everything that we appreciate so much in our jewelry – simple and adjusted forms and natural beauty of amber.
Modernism is a kind of mix of art deco architecture, constructivism and avant-garde painting, transferred to our pieces. Developing took about six months, and it was a complicated but very interesting process – first sketches, close interaction with jewelers, understanding all those uneasy specifics of working with amber, also selection of suitable stones and materials.
