We have been planning to present our items in Saint-Petersburg for a long time. Despite the delivery service with a free trying-on option, the important advantage of a jewelry brand is to provide the customer the opportunity for an authentic shopping experience with the ability to receive professional advice from a specialist. Fabergé Museum Store is now the place where you can do it all.
The Fabergé Museum in Saint Petersburg is located in the city center on the crossing of the Fontanka Embankment and Nevsky Prospekt. It was founded for the preservation, study and promotion of Russian cultural heritage. The basis of the exhibition consists of the biggest collection of products by Carl Faberge in the world.
Art has inspired us in the design of all our pieces, though it is not only art Leta has in common with this museum, but also history. Thanks to the House of Fabergé, Russia as a country became widely associated with jewelry and not only because of the iconic imperial Easter eggs. Dozens of artists worked for the Faberge company, having designed pieces of art, interior decorations and gifts. It is Faberge whom we must praise for the beginning of the entire jewelry industry in Russia and for the fact that jewelry became fashionable.
The museum store is much more than just a gift shop near the exhibition exit. Here are presented the works of different artists and designers who share their views with the traditions of the House. There are the pieces from interiors, clothing, accessories and, of course, jewelry. It is an honour for us to be able to present our works to the visitors of this museum.
Leta is committed to completely zeroing its carbon footprint by 2028. This will be achieved by eliminating paper, reducing energy consumption in manufacturing and stores, using electric transport for delivery, and participating in sustainable forest management programs.
Over the past 10 years, Garage has developed from an exhibition space to a valued artistic institution. When we discovered that the Museum creates an endowment for its own sustainable development, the decision was made. Until 2024 Leta will monthly transfer a portion of the funds from our income to the Garage Endowment Fund.
Since the beginning of our story, we have been thinking about the necessity of having an ajustable chain lock on our necklaces and pendants. In the case of a pendant on a chain, it is a matter of aesthetics as to how you want to wear your favourite piece – tighter to your neck or closer to the decolatte. It is different and more critical in the case of a necklace as it could turn out to be too big or, the opposite, be so small that you couldn`t easily fasten it.
The final part of our story about Russian amber and its history. The main problem of amber industry today is processing. Without having significant amber reserves, Baltic States and Poland have won recognition as “amber capitals” thanks to their craftsmen.
